# Canada Day Races

**July 1, 2027 · 8:30 a.m.**

A 1K, 3K and 5K road race on the morning of Canada Day, from the east lawn by the pier.

The 1K starts at 8:30 a.m., the 3K at 8:55 a.m. and the 5K at 9:30 a.m. A virtual option runs from June 1 to July 31.

A timed Canada Day morning race with 1K, 3K and 5K distances, starting and finishing on the East Lawn of Spencer Smith Park next to the Brant Street Pier. It is run by a private race company and is separate from the City's own Canada Day celebration later the same day.
